90% Person of Interest
5% Jim Caviezel (absolutely unexpected celebrity crush, but he is fabulous!)
3% Michael Emerson
2% other stuff.
I'm not sorry, because it's a marvelous show with amazing actors, which everybody should watch!
As for some of the other stuff you can still find here occasionally:
Sherlock Holmes in most incarnations, Benedict Cumberbatch and his equally brilliant colleague Daniel Craig. Suits (tv), White Collar (tv), Doctor Who, comics, manga (mostly Eroica Yori Ai o Komete / From Eroica With Love), as well as spies (fictional and real life espionage), Ludwig II, creepy stuff and whatever else should strike my fancy!
Click for complete (kinda) tag list!
Enjoy the pretty and welcome to the insanity party!

Not a Pirate Radio Station: Kira’s unsolicited opinion on Jim Caviezel as a person
Ok, so, every now and then I come across people who say outright “Oh my God! Jim Caviezel is such an awful person!” Any fans of his work are bound to have seen such comments. And I don’t mind admitting that I fought with this issue a bit myself. I disagree with Jim Caviezel’s standpoint on a huge number of moral and political issues. I mean, he’s a Republican and a devout Catholic, and there are certain ideologies that he upholds as a result which I find personally repugnant (chief among them being the idea that abortion is “the greatest moral defect of the western world”. Damn, Jim). Now, I may not have to associate with him in everyday life, but my objections to his ideals are still a cause of some consternation for me when trying to enjoy seeing him on my tv screen on a regular basis, and I know I’m not the only one who feels conflicted like this […]
Excellent and thank you for posting this. I have a great respect for Jim Caviezel as both a fantastic actor and as a person who I believe is truly good down to his soul. No one is going to agree with everything that every other person believes or does. But Jim Caviezel lives his faith every single day. He does not go around hitting us over the head talking about it, but rather shows us in the way he lives his life. You can see that he has genuine love and concern for everyone around him - his family, his friends, his cast mates, his fans and strangers, even the media - which he avoids but doesn’t diss. I am proud of him and proud to be a fan. We Irrelevants are so lucky to have him as the leading man of the best show on network television.
Very well said, both of you whitlockienterprisespresents and also mamahub. I had the same issue and similar thoughts floating around in my head and this sort of helped me putting my thoughts in order. So thank you for doing that ; )
In Extremis can come!
I personally really appreciate the Irrelevants in this fandom. They approach different points of view with openness, fairness and a mature focus for the big picture of humanity. Respect for each other avoids hate that only hurts.
This is an excellent post, which everybody should read!
I had thought about the very same issue ever since I discovered that he played Reese, but you all have said it much better than I could have done, so: THANK YOU!
And I agree about the fandom as well. It truly is something special and I’m happy that I found it!

I was just re-tagging my POI live-blog posts, so that I will find them again later, and realized that today 17 days ago, I started watching the show. Since then, I managed to:
- watch 36 episode, regardless of work, appointments and other responsibilities
- posted and reblogged 25 pages here on…
LOL! Welcome to our world of complete and utter POI obsession. It’s been over a year and a half for me and it still completely overtakes my life. I basically have given up sleep
(and housework)in order to keep feeding my POI addiciton. I have a full time job, and am a Mom to two very busy boys ages 6 and 8 who have sports activities, church activities, Cub Scouts, homework, projects, play dates, family outings. I even started and co-moderate a POI discussion website that I’d love you and everyone to check out if you are interested - www.personofinterestdiscussion.com I’m continually trying to “convert” people to become Irrelevants. It is a way of life for me now! WELCOME TO THE INSTANITY! :D
I tried to convince my son from watching POI with me (he is old enough and a fanboy in his own right, with quite a good taste, too - usually), but he is quite resistant to my attempts. Well, his loss :-) But yeah, I discovered that sleep and all the rest is highly overrated. Who needs to waste time on sleep when you can just as well spend it engaging in your favorite obsession? :-)
I’m quite bad when it comes to being active in forums (god knows, even my poor LJ is mostly dead nowadays), but I will check out the forum!
Also, this is easily one of the most welcoming fandoms! I feel already very much at home! Thank you, Irrelevants! ♥

And that all in less than 3 weeks, despite being insanely busy and certainly having no time for fandom, much less a new one.
Yeah, I got it really, really bad and am still head over heels in love with the show, its actors and just (pretty much) every single aspect of it and just can’t get enough.
Of course, I wouldn’t want to change it! :-)
Perfect show, brilliant cast, amazing writing and a lovely fandom! What more could I ask for?

♥ The terrific four!

Don’t judge me!
And that’s why I love this fandom nearly as much as the show! It’s nice, funny, and just all around fabulous!

Who knows????
That is a very good question.
They should have plenty of free time seeing that they don’t need to spend hours watching and reading stuff, they don’t have to wait eagerly for something fandom-related to arrive with the post, don’t get their hearts ripped out and broken by fictional characters, etc. etc. etc.
Nope, I don’t want to trade with them :-)
